Pretend City Children's Museum

Helps assist Pretend City staff with private museum rentals, birthday parties, school dances, & corporate fundraising events. Typical tasks would be setting up, breaking down, and supervising exhibits throughout the event.

Volunteers will receive a 2 hour training on our museum policies and procedure as well as how to interact with children in the museum. Volunteers will work on the museum floor alongside staff members. They will wear Pretend City volunteer uniform. Volunteers will be able to schedule their shifts anytime during museum hours but they must be able to attend their first shift on a weekday. Birthday party and special event shifts will be posted as needed. Volunteers over 18 are subject to a background check.
