Special Events - Repair Café Volunteer Recruitment
The City of Coquitlam is looking to bring Repair Cafés to our community and we are seeking volunteers! Repair Cafés are events where locals can bring in broken items to be fixed for free by volunteers. They support Coquitlam’s Environmental Sustainability Plan (ESP) goals to:
- Minimize Waste Generation
- Maximize Reuse, Recycling and Material Recovery

Please check for current repair cafe opportunities or sign up for the general volunteer list in the Volunteer Training/Recognition; Snow Angels; Special Events; Park Programs Category (found under the list of opportunities). If you are not a member of this category, please email volunteers@coquitlam.ca to be added.
If you are not a registered City of Coquitlam volunteer (Police Information Check, 2 references, attend an Orientation), you must complete the process before you can volunteer. Qualifications Required
- Age Category Must be at least 16 or older
- General Volunteer Orientation Must be at least Completed
- Police Information Check Must be at least Passed
- Reference Checks Must be at least Completed
