REACH is seeking volunteers for our Formal on January 16 from 6–8 PM 🎉✨. We need 2–3 volunteers for setup at 5 PM 🕔, 3–4 volunteers to serve and assist during the event from 6–8 PM 🍽️🤝, and 3–4 volunteers to help with cleanup starting at 8 PM 🧹🧼. Volunteers should be dependable, helpful, and willing to support event needs 💙. Your help will ensure the event runs smoothly and successfully 🙌.

Help create a welcoming, inclusive environment where individuals of all abilities can thrive. With low participant-to-staff ratios, our amazing team ensures a safe, supportive space that encourages individuals to be themselves while engaging in structured daily activities focused on learning and connection.

Volunteers play an important role in a variety of group-based programs that promote growth in life skills, vocational training, social development, and more—offering meaningful engagement at a pace and level tailored to each participant’s needs. On select days, participants go into the community for outings and hands-on experiences, providing opportunities for real-world learning and social interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Support staff in facilitating daily activities, such as life skills lessons, games, arts and crafts, and group discussions

• Accompany and assist participants during community outings and activities

• Encourage positive interactions and engagement among participants

• Assist with activity prep, transitions, and general supervision

• Foster a respectful, inclusive atmosphere where individuals feel safe and valued

Requirements:

• Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable

• Comfortable working with individuals of varying abilities

• Willingness to assist during both in-program and community-based activities

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Prior experience is helpful but not required—training provided

Time Commitment:
Flexible weekday hours available; consistent scheduling preferred for relationship-building
