Teaching health and wellness

If health and wellness is your passion and you enjoy teaching or organizing enrichment activities, you can help us to improve the lives of others impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. Arundel Lodge is seeking volunteers to teach wellness and coping skills, such as nutrition, yoga, meditation, gardening, eco/nature, aromatherapy, music, birding, etc. to our persons served as they move towards recovery and a meaningful life in our community.

We welcome volunteers to lead adult classes held in the mornings Monday through Thursday.  Or to share a hobby or interest with the individuals we serve by helping to organize a field trip, show and tell, or provide an experiential opportunity.  We’re especially looking for folks who have experience or interest in leading classes or workshops or organizing activities, a desire to help others, and an awareness and compassion towards individuals living with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
