Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR)
TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Volunteers
TNR volunteers are essential to helping community cats live healthier, safer lives. By humanely trapping, transporting, and returning cats to their outdoor homes after spay/neuter surgery, volunteers reduce overpopulation and improve the welfare of free-roaming cats.
-
Trappers – Volunteers help set and monitor humane traps to safely catch community cats.
-
Transporters – Volunteers bring cats to and from surgery appointments.
-
Caretakers – Volunteers assist with recovery after surgery and return cats to their outdoor colonies.
