Volunteering Opportunities at Broomfield include:
Ward volunteer - Enhance our patients' experience and make their time in hospital as comfortable as possible by supporting our health care staff on a ward with a variety of non-clinical duties. You may be chatting to patients, running errands for health care assistants or assisting the housekeeper with drinks and meals.
Feeding Buddy - A very rewarding role where you'll support patients who require encouragement to eat or assistance with feeding.
Helpdesk Volunteer - Our Help Desk Volunteers provide a warm and welcoming face to patients and visitors to the hospital. They also offer practical support, information and directions to patients that enter the Hospital.
Welcome to the Voluntary Services Department at Mid and South Essex (MSE) Hospitals. The MSE group is made up of Basildon, Broomfield and Southend Hospitals. You have come through to the voluntary services department at Broomfield Hospital.
