Support the spiritual well-being of participants by helping create a space where people feel safe, welcomed, and free to explore faith at their own pace.
Volunteers play a meaningful role in walking alongside individuals - offering encouragement, facilitating conversation, guiding prayer when appropriate, and creating opportunities for reflection, connection, and personal growth.
Current Volunteer Opportunity: Bible Study Leader
Purpose
To help create and facilitate spaces where participants can explore faith, ask questions, and grow in a supportive and respectful community.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate group Bible studies in a relational and engaging way
- Prepare simple, meaningful content and discussion questions
- Create space for conversation, reflection, and connection
- Lead prayer when appropriate
- Help foster an environment where participants feel valued, safe, and supported
Time Commitment
- Weekly or biweekly sessions (flexible based on availability)
Skills & Heart Posture
- Comfortable leading small groups in a conversationa approach
- Familiar with Scripture and able to communicate it simply and meaningfully
- Strong listening skills, empathy, and relational awareness
- Able to meet people where they’re at with grace and respect
Requirements
- Completion of volunteer onboarding (orientation and screening)
- Previous experience leading or facilitating groups is an asset
- A personal and active faith, with a heart to serve others well
- Regular connection to a local church community
