Our programs include supportive housing, a community market, life skills classes, and family-focused activities. Volunteers play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming environment where families can thrive.
Market Donation Sorter
Help sort and organize donated food items in the Community Market. Volunteers ensure items are stored properly and accessible for families.
Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 9 AM–12 PM (flexible)
Financial Literacy Instructor
Facilitate a 6-week program teaching budgeting, saving, debt management, banking, and financial goal-setting. One class per week.
Schedule: Flexible afternoons or evenings
Hairdresser for Families
Provide haircuts for parents and children in a welcoming environment. Flexible schedule—monthly or seasonal.
Parenting Class Facilitator
Lead a parenting group to support families with practical skills and encouragement.
Schedule: Weekly, flexible timing
Yoga Instructor
Facilitate yoga sessions for children and families to promote wellness and bonding.
Schedule: Flexible (early mornings or evenings)
Cooking/Baking Instructor
Teach families how to cook and bake on a budget, store food properly, and maximize fridge space.
Schedule: Monthly, mid-morning or evening
Market Support Volunteer
Help organize and maintain the Community Market, ensuring smooth operations for families accessing food.
Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays; mid-morning or afternoon
