Tool Team

Purpose: Support Ruth and Naomi’s Mission by completing small building projects that help us care for participants and maintain safe, functional spaces. This includes repairs, painting, light renovations, and building items such as planter boxes, shelving, or storage solutions.

What You Will Do: Assist with odd handyman jobs and small projects across RAN facilities. Help with light repairs, basic carpentry, painting, and simple construction tasks. Work with staff to identify project needs and complete tasks that improve the environments where participants receive services.

Time Commitment: As needed. Projects typically occur during daytime hours and vary in length.

Ideal Skills: Experience with basic tools, light construction, painting, or general maintenance. Comfort working on small projects in a team environment.

Requirements: Orientation, Criminal Record Check, adherence to safety practices and tool handling guidelines. Bring personal tools if preferred. RAN can provide basic supplies when available.

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager or Program Manager.

Location: RAN facilities such as the Shelter, Family Centre, The Grove, Interchange, or program-specific locations.
