Corps Programming - Sound Technician

The Sound Technician is responsible for running the sound
during worship services and other corps functions. Tech should be
aware of what is happening in the service and make advanced arrangements
for any special needs. Tech is responsible for the set-up
and take-down of any microphones needed in the service, and the use
of any cordless mics. Tech will notify the office when batteries or
other supplies are needed for the sound system. The Sound Technician
is also responsible to audio tape the services as directed so that
they can be duplicated and mailed out. Tech may be asked to help
with other special services as well (weddings, funerals, etc.). Familiarity
with function and capability of all equipment is necessary, as
well as the ability to trouble-shoot and remain focused regardless of
possible distractions.
