More than a ride! Volunteers take clients to medical appointments. Some are drop offs and some are escorted. Volunteers and clients bond during the shared time together and help make a trip to the doctor into a meaningful connection.
There are several different volunteer options at the Bernard Creeger Bikur Cholim House: A home of hope and healing in Bethesda, MD where patients and caregivers stay free of charge when in the Greater Washington area for medical treatment. The house is located near the main campus of the National Institutes of Health.
