Waste Management Services - Reuse Centre
The Reuse Centre exists to raise awareness of the second R – Reuse – and has three main goals: promote the idea and benefits of reuse, provide affordable items to organizations and individuals and divert waste from landfill.
The Centre accepts various items from Edmonton residents free of charge and makes them available, for a nominal fee, to organizations and individuals for reuse.
Since opening in 2007, the Centre has seen tremendous growth, receiving 175 tonnes of items from Edmonton residents to date! These items have in turn been purchased by schools, daycares, community groups, and other creative individuals.
