The volunteer pictured below is Joe Gagliano. I'm sure many of you have met him but if not I would highly suggest introducing yourself. He always has a smile on his face and is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. Joe has been a volunteer for almost two years, he started in January 2016 and since then has immersed himself in several different opportunities of the volunteer program. You can find him on the aquarium floor as an education docent, in the rescue center, conducting behind the scenes tours for both the foundation and the aquarium, on the Atlantis Explorer Tour Boat, or in the hospital conducting water quality. Over the last two years he has become an amazing educator! We hope that like Joe you will explore all the different avenues of the volunteer program that interest you.
Educating at its finest!
