Visiting Volunteer - Cognitive Impairment Support
The purpose of this role is to support patients staying in the hospital, especially longer term to improve their experience by offering complimentary activities and companionship. In addition, this role will assist patients referred by clinical caregivers, who might be at risk of dementia or cognitive impairment for companion support during their stay.
Please note, volunteers are required to attend Caring for the Cognitively Impaired training before commencing in this role.
