About Burnaby’s preschool programs
Our City of Burnaby preschool programs come in all shapes and sizes. Our programs can range in size from 12 to 60 participants (with parents) for students aged 0-5yrs. The main 4 types of programs we offer include:
- Gym
- Arts
- Social
- Learning
As a volunteer, you will be responsible for supporting our staff set up, oversee, and take down our programs.
Requirements
Preschool volunteers must:
- be minimum 14 years of age (parental consent is required for all applicants 18 and under)
- be eligible to volunteer in Canada
- Commit to a minimum of one special event or one shift a week for a season of the same program.

Parks, Recreation and Culture Fundamental Goal Statement:
