2026 Food/Hygiene Drives - 2026 Letter Carrier Food Drive - Vehicle Unloader (Packerland Post Office)
Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
Shifts: 11:00am - 2:15pm and 2:00 - 5:15pm
Location: Packerland Post Office
Volunteers are needed to help unload and sort donated food items that are collected through the postal carrier's food drive. You will unload the food items from the mail trucks or private vehicles, unpack the bins/bags, and place food into large boxes that will go to the local pantries.
Volunteers must be 16 and older to volunteer by themselves. Bending, lifting up to 40 lbs., standing, and walking required.
Report to West Side Post Office on Packerland Drive. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as you'll be going in and out of the office.
Qualifications Required
- Age Category Must be at least 16 or older
- How much can you lift comfortably? Must be at least 30lbs
