Transitional Housing (GB Union Court Corps) - Transitional Housing Mentor/Buddy

The Mentoring program is a unique and meaningful volunteer based program designed to help participating families realize their dreams and to promote self-sufficiency, stronger families, reduce isolation through mentorship and on going support in achieving these goals. Responsibilities include: -Meet with assigned family at least one time per month -Speak with the family frequently -Discuss progress, successes and emerging needs with the case manager -Meet at Mentoring Meeting once a month -Help assigned family with requested tasks like preparing a resume, conducting job searches, applying to schools, helping with children's homework, time management and budgeting.

  • Age Category Must be at least 21 or older
