Club Support - Food Preparation and Service Volunteer

Primary purpose of role:                The role of the Food Preparation and Services Assistant is to work alongside the Food Services and/or program team to cater and prepare meals for staff, clients and visitors. The role focuses on hands on experience and the running of catering facilities.

General Tasks
  • Equipment Setup/Pack down.
  • Food preparation.
  • Cooking.
  • Serving.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Money and EFTPOS handling.

Skills and experience required:
  • Commitment to hygiene food practices
  • Experience with food preparation.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
