Site Wayfinding

Being the first point of contact for clients, family members, visitors and guests to the CCAMH. You'll be the friendly face that greets and directs them to their location/clinic/program. You will actively monitor waiting room/reflection spaces and provide support to those within. This could include handing out activities and snacks, watching siblings briefly while families are in appointments, tidying up, and generally helping to create a welcoming environment. This position will also support open gym time by signing in and out sports gear.

Visiting a healthcare setting, either as a patient, family member or visitor can be a difficult and overwhelming experience.  Wayfinders should be mature and comfortable approaching people as they enter and exit the facility and provide navigation and direction to their destination to help reduce stress.  Wayfinders should be mobile and able to be active for long periods of time.

We ask for a 1 year commitment with 3-4 shifts a month on a set schedule.
