Site and Program Volunteer
A Site and Program Volunteer enhances the patient and family experience by providing companionship, social interaction, and recreational support to patients and familes. Volunteers engage patients through conversation, games, crafts, reading, music, and group activities, while also assisting with wayfinding. They support families, help with administrative and unit tasks, and contribute to program setup and cleanup. While volunteers do not provide personal or medical care, they play an important role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and engaging environment.
We ask for a 1 year commitment with 3-4 shifts a month on a set schedule.
