Long Term/Specialty Volunteers

Opportunity Village relies heavily on people in the community who donate their time to helping serve individuals with intellectual disabilities. You can get involved by volunteering to work hand-in-hand with the people we serve or within one of our many departments!

Below are brief descriptions of the different ways in which you can volunteer at Opportunity Village!

Volunteering Hand-In-Hand with Individuals Served

Currently, ongoing volunteer opportunities exist in program areas at all four campuses across Las Vegas, including Opportunity Village's:

• Fine and Performing Arts Program:  This program serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in music, dance, theater and visual art; 
• PRIDE Program:  This program serves individuals with the most profound physical and intellectual disabilities who require 24-hour care and supervision;
• ENABLE Program:  This program supports individuals with severe intellectual and physical disabilities, allowing each to participate in various activities and rehabilitative initiatives; 
• Employment Resource Centers (ERC): This program provides opportunities to individual to learn job and life skills. 

Please note, our programs hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  

Volunteering In One of Our Departments

In addition to ongoing volunteer opportunities in our program areas, Opportunity Village offers numerous opportunities to volunteer along-side our wonderful staff within our numerous departments. 

All department volunteer opportunities are during normal business hours, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
