General Volunteer Interests - Food Pantry Volunteer

The Salvation Army of Lafayette provides a food pantry to our community every Wednesday and Friday from 9a-12p. Duties include:

Pack and distribute food based on client request. 

Restock shelves as needed.

Pack snack bags.

Aide in selection of bread and produce items.

Volunteers need to be able to stand for a period of time and lift a bag of groceries up to 30 lbs. Arrival time is around 8:30a and completes shortly after noon. To volunteer please contact Jesica Hollinger, jesica.hollinger@usc.salvationarmy.org. 

Qualifications Required

  • Background Check
  • Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Online
