Doughnut Days is a mid-year fundraiser for The Salvation Army. During World War I the ladies use to take fresh doughnuts and hot coffee to the soldiers on the front lines. Today, we give out doughnuts for any donations collected. This fundraiser helps us continue to support all of our ongoing programs such as summer day camp, rent, utility and food assistance for those families in our community with needs.
WHEN: Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3. from 8 am -5 pm
The Salvation Army will provide aprons, collection boxes and donuts at each site for volunteers.
WHAT: Volunteers will arrive at the store and put on the apron. Then the volunteer will stand near the store entrance and greet shoppers. Donuts are given to individuals who make a donation in the collections box.
HOW: If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please sign in or make a new account at the right on this page. Then you will be able to select a time shift that you would be willing to help.
