Spring Valley County Park - Tree Giveaway at Spring Valley County Park

Join us as we distribute over 200 trees to local residents they can plant at their homes. More trees entering the community, planted on people's personal property expands the tree canopy of San Diego County, helping the environment and making more resilient communities. 

Where:

Spring Valley County Park located at 8735 Jamacha Blvd., Spring Valley, CA 91977

Shifts:

  • 7 a.m. - 10 a.m.
  • 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Help during our Tree Giveaway Events by: 

  • Help unload the tree delivery
  • Greet participants and checking them in
  • Help distribute trees to local Spring Valley residents
  • Share tree care information
  • Help with event setup and cleanup 

Who Can Volunteer: 

  • Ages 16+ (under 18 with a parent or guardian)
  • Friendly and enjoys working outdoors.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs

Volunteer Parking is in the park or community center parking lot located at 8735 Jamacha Blvd., Spring Valley, CA 91977

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, layered clothes, and protection from the sun. Bring water and be ready to help the environment!
