Lamar County Park - Planting Native Plants at Lamar County Park

Event Description:
Skip the shopping crowds and join us for Green Friday, San Diego County Parks' annual tradition of connecting with the outdoors the day after Thanksgiving. Instead of hitting the malls, you and your family can give back to the environment through a fun and rewarding tree-planting experience.
Native Planting Details:
Under the guidance of County Parks staff, volunteers will install native plants in designated areas of the park. You’ll receive training on proper planting techniques, and no experience is required, just a willingness to get your hands in the dirt!
