Lamar County Park - Park Beautification Day at Lamar Park
Event Description:
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make Lamar County Park shine during our community cleanup celebration! Our event partner, I Love A Clean San Diego, will assist! We’ll gather to pick up trash, spruce up the scenery, and turn the park into an even brighter, cleaner place for everyone to enjoy. Come for the good vibes, stay for the teamwork, and leave knowing you helped make your local park awesome!
Birds of Prey Demo!:
The County Parks and Recreation Park Ranger Team will be on site celebrating "Hawktober!" where they will put on a demonstration of Birds of Prey, teaching participants about animal behavior, local habitat, and more!

Volunteer Details:
- ALL VOLUNTEERS must register with I Love A Clean San Diego as well! Click here to go to their website for registration: REGISTER HERE!
- Open to all ages; great for families, teens, and community groups.
- Tasks may include pick sticking and cleaning debris.
- All tools and materials will be provided.
- All volunteers must checkin at the Volunteer Check-in Booth before starting activities.
- Parking is LIMITED. Please carpool. Extra parking is available in neighboring streets and walking over.

- Hat & sunscreen
- Water bottle & snacks
- Long pants & sturdy, closed-toed shoes
