CARG Associate

CARG volunteers are specific individuals who have experienced a cardiac difficulty themselves. They provide compassionate support to patients who are going through a similar experience. Volunteers offer encouragement and information on cardiac education and exercise programs available in Saskatchewan after a heart event. Volunteers become part of the Cardiac Rehabilitation team who visit patients within the Royal University Hospital.

The most important role is to have a positive attitude and to portray that there is "life after a heart event".
