Spanish Conversation Partner for Adult Learners

Can you speak both Spanish and English? Do you want to put these valuable skills to use while making a difference in your community? The Cincinnati and Hamilton County Library is seeking a volunteer to join us as a Spanish Conversation Partner for adult learners! As a volunteer, you'll help create a welcoming space where people can practice and improve their Spanish through engaging speaking activities. The Forest Park Branch of the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic bilingual facilitator to lead this language program. Responsibilities: Facilitates Spanish and English Language groups through support materials and general guidance; Practices listening and speaking skills with adult Spanish language learners; Creates a warm and welcoming environment for Spanish language learners to practice Spanish.

Necessary skills and qualifications: Speak Spanish and English fluently and clearly; Is a supportive listener; Excellent customer service.

Requirements: Minimum age 18 years old; Completed application; Interview; Background check.

Time Required: 1-2 hours/week Schedule: Mondays – Saturdays, hours to be determined.
