Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library

Do you enjoy working with children? Have an interest in arts and crafts? The Monfort Heights Branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County seeks a volunteer to serve as a Children’s Program Support Assistant. 

Responsibilities: Duties would include passing out manipulatives and craft supplies, counting attendance, and helping the librarian transition between Preschool and Baby storytimes.   

Necessary skills and qualifications: Interest in working with children; arts and crafts oriented; attention to detail; neatness; knowledge of basic library operations

Requirements: Minimum age 18 years old; Ability to lift and carry materials; Ability to reach, bend, and stoop to reach shelves; Completed application; Interview; Background check (if 18 or older)

Schedule: Tuesday Mornings from 10-11:30am
