Do you enjoy working with children? Do you have an interest in playing Chess? The Blue Ash Branch of the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library seeks volunteers to serve as Program Support Assistants. Program Support Assistants are essential in our branches to provide assistance to librarians as they prepare for and offer programming for our young customers. Typical work includes  working with children during activities.

Responsibilities: Assist Youth Librarian with preparation and during program presentation; cover books; clean books; make copies; occasional assistance with adult programs as needed; assist with room set-up and clean-up after programs.

Necessary skills and qualifications: Interest in working with children; arts and crafts oriented; attention to detail; neatness; knowledge of basic library operations.

Requirements: Minimum age 13 years old; Ability to lift and carry materials; Ability to reach, bend, and stoop to reach shelves; Completed application; Interview; Background check (if 18 or older).

Time Required: 2-3 hours/week

Schedule: Tuesday's 6:00 - 8:00 PM
