Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment

Join the Land Park Volunteer Corps (LPVC) in partnership with The City of Sacramento's Department of Youth Park & Community Enrichment (YPCE) for a fun and rewarding morning of community, connection and care for William Land Park.

Task will vary depending on park needs, but will include activities such as:

• weeding
• raking leaves
• pond surround cleanup 
• pruning plants and shrubs
• seasonal planting.

Together we'll keep our shared spaces clean, welcoming and ready to be enjoyed.

Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.  Volunteers are encouraged to bring reusable gloves, and your favorite reusable water bottle. Ice and water will be available for refills.

Coffee and pastries will be provided during registration.  A BBQ lunch will be provided at the end of the event.

Youth groups and students can receive credit for volunteer hours. Check with your high school, college or group for details.
