Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment

Join ReWild Sacramento and the Citty of Sacramento's Department of Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment (YPCE) for a fun and rewarding morning of caring for a section of our much-loved trail.  

Tasks may include:

• Clearing weeds that are encroaching the trail
• Spread approximately 15 yards of mulch to the edges of the trail and the bases of young trees
• Pick up garbage
• plant native plants

Volunteers are encouraged to:

• Dress for the weather in closed toe shoes and clothes they don't mind getting dirty. 
• Bring a refillable water bottle and sun protection
• Bring work gloves if you have them, (we will have a limited supply on hand to lend for the day) 

All tools and supplies will be provided by YPCE 

Youth groups and students can receive credit for volunteer hours.
