Join District 4 Park Commissioner Marc laver and the office of Councilmember Phil Pluckebaum in partnership with the city of Sacramento's Department of Youth Parks & Community Enrichment (YPCE) for a fun and rewarding morning of community effort as we work together to care for our park.

Tasks may include:

• painting a concrete retaining wall
• painting benches
• adding/ leveling sand in the playground
• disinfecting play equipment
• tidying landscaped areas
• light litter cleanup 

All tools and supplies will be provided. 

Volunteers are encouraged to dress for the weather in closed-toe shoes and to bring reusable gloves and a water bottle if possible. 

Youth groups and students can get credit for volunteer hours by participating in these events.
