Join Park Commissioner Robbie Robbins in partnership with The City of Sacramento's department of Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment (YPCE) for a morning of community Service and Garden Maintenance. 

Together, we'll clear and prepare the garden beds in the "Green House", an education plot designed to teach children how to grow their own food and understand the importance and benefits of gardening.

Volunteers will help remove spent plants, weeds and debris to prepare the beds for future educational activities.  We will also be clearing the paths in and leading to the "Green House". 

No gardening experience is necessary - just a willingness to get your hands dirty and help create a space where children can learn and grow.

YPCE will provide the tools and supplies.
