St Kilda Tourism Association (SKTE) is the peak tourism and events body for Destination St Kilda, working collaboratively with industry to deliver significant impact on visitation and yield through creative marketing activity. SKTE is a strategic tourism and industry focused membership organisation that provides leadership in promoting and marketing Destination St Kilda.
The St Kilda Tourism & Events Visitor service was set up in 2015 as a mobile service from a kombi van. The volunteer program aims to service the mobile and event based visitor information servicing needs for the area.
As a volunteer for Tourism St Kilda you can expect lots of fun! The St Kilda Tourism Kombi Van is travels to many major events in the area including St Kilda Festival, Australia Grand Prix and more! The Kombi Van can also be found at the St Kilda Esplanade Market every Sunday. As a volunteer you will accompany the Kombi Van at such events and provide visitors to the area information on things to do and see in St Kilda!
