Volunteers proficient in computer research are needed to transcribe and index genealogy information. Some genealogy experience preferred, but good computer skills and an interest in research is most important. Accuracy, typing skills, and proficiency in Excel required.
If you have education, work experience, or hobbies that involve photography, digital imaging and scanning, graphic design, art, or related disciplines, this volunteer opportunity may be a good match for you. Interest in history or information organization is a plus.
