Behavioral Health - Navigation Center Volunteer

We are looking for community members (including students) to support operations at the Mental Health Navigation Center in Davis! 

 

The Mental Health Navigation Center links clients to available mental health and substance use treatment resources and service. Clients at the navigation center can find:

  • Crisis Support
  • Mental Health Assessments, referrals, and linkage to care
  • Substance Use Disorder Screenings (ASAM) and linkage to treatment
  • Entry point for adult mental health services and medication management with Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency
  • Adult Mental Health Wellness and Social Support Groups
  • Telehealth and in-person care
  • Case Management, Care Coordination, and Peer Support
  • Transportation
  • Access to community services and resources

Qualifications Required

  • Annual TB Clearance Must be at least Negative TB Test results
  • Annual Training Must be at least New Volunteer and Student Training
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Must be at least Employee
  • Hep B Vaccination Must be at least Complete
  • MMR Vaccination Must be at least Complete
  • New Volunteer & Student Training Must be at least Complete
  • Policies and Agreements Must be Complete
  • Position Description Must be Complete
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination Must be at least Not Flu season
  • Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct Prevention Must be at least Complete
  • Varicella Vaccination Must be at least Complete
  • Volunteer and Student Handbook Must be Complete
  • Volunteer/Student Must be Volunteer
