Dear Prospective Kettle Volunteer:
I want to thank you for your interest in being a Bell Ringer for the Alton Corps. The funds raised during our Bell Ringing Season are truly the Life Blood of the work of the Alton Corps. The funds you raise at your Kettle stay right in our River Bend Service Area and help provide food, shelter, gifts, and assistance to those in need in our community.
It takes over 2,000 volunteers (and all of our Bell Ringers ARE volunteers) to cover each of our locations and all of our shifts so I hope you will help us reach out and recruit your friends and family to join you in this most vital project.
Just a quick reminder that our Kettle locations are all outside, so please dress for the weather.
If something unexpected should come up, you will be able to remove your Bell Ringing Reservation up to 48 hours prior to your shift and make that shift available to others. If it should happen to be less than 48 hours, please call the Alton Corps at 618-465-7764 and we will re-fill your slot.
