Day Surgery Ambassador (Weekdays Only)
Visiting a hospital for surgery as a patient can be a difficult and overwhelming experience. Day Surgery Ambassadora should be comfortable approaching people waiting for surgery to provide support and companionship to alleviate stress, while also helping with duties on the unit. Volunteers should also be physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time and be comfortable pushing a wheelchair to assist if the need arises.
