Wellness Activities at Saint Brigid's

Description

We have some very talented residents living at Saint Brigid's Home. Every week, a painter comes to the home and helps our residents make beautiful pieces of art. Every few months, we have an art exhibition with all the lovely paintings that were created throughout the weeks.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Your role is to wheel and assist residents to the ground floor for the painting workshop. During the activity, you will be helping residents by providing the necessary tools and guidance as needed. Some residents need a little encouragement or stimulation to continue their painting, and you will be there to offer that support. At the end of the painting class you will wheel and assist residents back to their rooms.

Requirements

Can push a wheelchair, Fluent/conversational in English, Fluent/conversational in French. Hand-Washing & Food safety
