WMICC Recreation Volunteer - assistance with portering to programs, socializing, 1:1 visits, emotional and visitation support, games & craft assistance, assistance with Fleury outings with residents
Shifts vary Monday to Friay, mornings and afternoons
Meals on Wheels Volunteers deliver nutritious meals to clients assessed as needing support with nutrition.
Personal accomplishments, develop and enhance communication skills, learn new job skills & obtain a work routine, being involved & giving back to community.
Volunteer picks up meals at given time from the outlet and delivers to client in their home.
Routes available: Wolseley, Grenfell, Indian Head, Montmarte
Associate Volunteer positions are relational and provide value added care for residents through meaningful engagement and service. This role is more independent where the volunteers have a central point of contact but may conduct their volunteer services independently. Interactions may occur in areas with limited visibility or infrequent support by a paid employee.
Programs take place in a variety of settings, activity room, dining room, residents room and outdoors.
Provider Volunteers will provide stimulation and relaxation, through talking, listening, singing and socializing within a group. This will help to calm the residents body and mind and bring joy to their day.
Shifts vary with individuals and groups.
Available Monday-Friday, mornings and afternoons.
