Volunteer Experience Ambassador

The Volunteer Experience Ambassador Program is currently on hold. Please check back for updates in 2023

The year-round Volunteer Experience Ambassador position is intended to enrich visitor experiences at the Muttart Conservatory through educational experiences along with being a warm, inviting presence at the facility. Volunteers supplement but do not replace the opportunities provided to the public by paid staff.

Volunteer Experience Ambassadors use short, engaging, relevant and personal interactions to enhance the visitor experience. Volunteers interact with visitors of all different ages, backgrounds and walks of life, inspiring people to connect with the amazing world of plants!

How to Get Involved

ELIGIBILITY
 
  • Ages 13+

  • If under the age of 16

    • Two written references from a non-related person (A form can be provided for you)

APPLY
 
  • Fill in an Application

  • Volunteer positions may require a Police Records Check

  • Complete a Police Information Check. Some positions may also require an interview or reference checks.

VOLUNTEER
  • You will be invited to attend our New Volunteer Orientation

  • Once you have attended a Volunteer Orientation you can log in to MyImpactPage.com and start signing up for opportunities. 

  • Check out all the areas that Community & Recreation Facilities has to offer.
