Homes for the Holidays is a BC regional fundraising event for Kids Help Phone. The 11th annual Homes for the Holidays will take place on Saturday November 28th and Sunday November 29th. Vancouver designers teach up with home décor retailers to adorn five beautiful Vancouver Westside homes with unique displays of holiday decorating. We are looking for volunteers to volunteer their time one day of the tour, to help manage the home and make ticket purchasers comfortable.

Ultra Green Christmas.
Pulling inspiration from the homeowners extensive art collection and the surrounding outdoors, lead designer, Bianca Fusco Zanatta of M. Zanatta Homes notes the décor is simple and “creatively green”. Using a combination of branches, pinecones, twigs and greenery combined with a splash of color from seasonal flowers, berries, fruits and nuts while incorporating natural colors and textures provides the perfect opportunity to punch it up with some opulence by introducing an accent of silver and white décor provided by Garden Works.

As a Home Volunteer you will be stationed by your Captain in order to:

• Create a welcoming atmosphere
• Bring festive Cheer and smiles to the ticket purchasers
• Provide attendees with background, history and tidbits of the home, design, florist and retailers
• Guide attendees on home flow
• Oversee Security in the home
1. Ensure that attendees do not touch or wander in areas of off limits in the home
2. Protect home owners values
3. Ensure there are NO pets, nor children under the age of 12 (unless infant is in snugglie)
4. Ensure there are NO cameras or cell phones
5. Please ensure there is NO smoking, eating or drinking in the home

All volunteers must work a 5.5 hour shift. This shift includes a break and lunch catered by Trafalgar's Bistro, and all volunteers will receive a complimentary tour ticket.

All volunteers, who commit to a full day shift 5.5 hours will be provided lunch, kindly catered by Trafalgars/ Sweet Obsessions.
