Park Ranger District - Los Peñasquitos/Black Mountain/North City

This opportunity supports our Park Ranger Program in its effort to promote recreation and conservation goals within the Multiple Species Conservation Program.

Volunteers will assist ranger staff in seasonal trail and habitat maintenance projects including trail trimming and erosion control, tread work, invasive species and litter removal, and restoration plantings. 

Regular maintenance of our trails and open space habitats allow for sensitive plant and animal communities to better thrive in their native ranges It allows our human communities to enjoy green space, breathe deeply and develop a relationship with the land and nature of which they are a part.
