Deerfield

Purpose:

• To provide opportunity for Catholic residents to participate in Catholic services.

Benefit to Resident/Presbyterian Homes:

 

• Catholic residents have opportunity to participate in religious practices of their choice

Responsibilities:

• Using current list of Catholic residents for transporting to/from service
• If unsure if resident is appropriate, check with staff
• Accompany eucharistic minister to rooms of residents who are unable to attend service.
• Assist with socialization following service.
• Assist with communion.
• May assist with Rosary.
  

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

 

• Using current list of Catholic residents for transporting to/from service
• Knowledge of Catholic practices
• Ability to provide positive customer service
• Strength and endurance to propel wheelchairs

Time Commitment/Hours:

• 1-2 hours per week
