Beach Volleyball Program Facilitator
Volunteer Area – Adult Sports – Beachfront Programs
Position Purpose / Goals - To provide customer service support to participants for Adults during the Town of Wasaga Beach Recreational Co-Ed Beach Volleyball program.
Tuesday’s 6:00 – 9:00 pm Jul. 5 – Aug. 25, 2022 at Beach Area Two
Responsibilities:
- Help supervise and provide leadership to a group of 18 – 55 year old adults who participate weekly in the Town’s Beach Volleyball program;
- Stay and play volleyball with participants, registration fee for program and parking pass will be provided for free;
- Make informed decisions, consulting with Recreation and Youth Coordinator regarding weather conditions and the safety of participants;
- Set up and take down of volleyball nets and lines, ensure all program equipment is onsite including but not limited to: balls, pumps, first aid kits, nets and lines;
- Monitoring and track participant numbers/feedback and report to Recreation and Youth Coordinator;
- Educate beginner volleyball players on rules associated with beach volleyball;
- Work cooperatively with the community, volunteers and town staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum age: 18 yrs. and older
- Customer Service Oriented Individual
- Knowledgeable about the game of volleyball
- Friendly, outgoing
- Posses good communication skills
- Consistent and reliable
- Able to perform physical duties of the job.
Uniform:
- Volunteer t-shirt will be provided
- Athletic gear for beach volleyball

Qualifications Required
- Demographic Age Group *optional Must be at least Adult - 18 years of age or older
- Do you have a Police Check? Must be Yes I have one
