All provider volunteers will be under the direction of Rec. Coord. or Rec. Worker. Each provider (individual or groups) will provide a service directly to the residents in a fully supervised and controlled space. This will support the recreation team as a group program with provider volunteers providing music and/or church services.
Various shifts available : Sunday to Monday 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

This will include one to one support visits; assisting residents to appointments in town; recreation group support such as Bingo, Crafts, Singing, Card Games, Horse Races; group support during fundraising or events. Volunteer role cross over in a small community.
Shifts Available Monday - Friday mornings and afternoons
The Horticulture Associate will be able to bring joy to residents. They will share talents in garden, visit with elders of the community and improve the resident's outdoor experience
They assist residents in caring for the outdoor space we have during our Spring/summer/ fall season.
Duties may include Watering, feed, transplant plants, weed plant beds, trim/prune plants as required, maintain tidiness in garden area.

Recreation Associate are the extra pair of "helping hands" that add to the trained services of the Long-term care facility staff, working together to enhance the lives of residents
Activities include, but are not limited to: Reading groups, puzzles, games, bingo, nail painting, going for walks, group painting, crafts, exercise programs, and special events like Christmas parties and teas. Birthday parties, volunteer group outings.
Shifts available: Monday - Sunday morning afternoon and evening.
Meals on Wheels Volunteers deliver nutritious meals to clients assessed as needing support with nutrition.
Personal accomplishment, develop and enhance communication skills, learn new job skills & obtain a work routine, being involved & giving back to community.
Volunteer picks up meals at given time from the outlet and delivers to client in their home.
Shifts vary, delivery over lunch time hours.

The Recreation Associate position will assist activities that have been arranged by the Recreation Department and may include a variety of activities, such as games, puzzles, crafts, reading, hymn sings, baking, exercises, walking, decoration, spa services, special outings and 1:1 visitation.
Shifts are on-going / casual as scheduled by the recreation department, as needed, and based on programming.
