Date & Time: Saturday, July 18 @ 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Pipestone Creek Conservation Land overlooks the meandering creek as well as an oxbow lake. It supports moose, deer, and many other types of wildlife, and is frequented by visitors who enjoy the peaceful scenery. Join us at our Pipestone Creek to remove invasive plants from the trails and surrounding areas to provide the best environment possible for native plants and wildlife to flourish!
This event will include a butterfly walk in the afternoon, or another themed nature walk if weather is not suitable for butterflies. We will explore the trails and EALT staff will share background on the ecology and what butterflies we find that day.
Accessibility:
This event will involve

Bending and kneeling to pull plants up, carrying tools and supplies for the day
- Roughly 6 km of walking over variable terrain, including going up and down one steep hill
What to Expect:
