Would you like to assist people to understand English and the Australian culture? Are you interested in meeting people and learning about other cultures?

 

Become an English Conversation volunteer and help people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds improve their English skills. Lead conversations with migrants discussing general issues and popular topics in a supportive environment. Connect people to library resources and services that are relevant to them.

 

Volunteers will ideally work with one or more other volunteers, either leading or assisting to facilitate group discussions. If possible, participants should be grouped by skill level.

 

Participants are not required to register so the composition of the group changes from week to week.
