Neuro Rehab Volunteer (Flitwick and Leighton Buzzard)

Our Neuro Rehabilitation (Neuro Rehab) Team are a multidisciplinary team comprising of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and assistant practitioners, who support people who have had a stroke or have other neurological conditions requiring rehabilitation.
This volunteer role is a wonderful opportunity for those with an interest in neurological rehabilitation to support parents, be part of a team, give back to the NHS and gain experience of the NHS.
This volunteer role is available at the Book Club (Flitwick) on Friday mornings (term time) and the Neurotones Choir (Leighton Buzzard) on Monday afternoons, helping to set up sessions and supporting and encouraging participants so that they can benefit fully from the sessions.
We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of 6 months volunteering, for approximately 2-3 hours a fortnight, with the option for more hours if desired.
Volunteers need to be over 18 years of age for this role.
Training & support is provided throughout your volunteering experience.
