Neuro Rehab Volunteer (Dunstable & Leighton Buzzard)
Our Neuro Rehabilitation (Neuro Rehab) Team are a multidisciplinary team comprising of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and assistant practitioners, who support people who have had a stroke or have other neurological conditions requiring rehabilitation.
This volunteer role is a wonderful opportunity for those with an interest in neurological rehabilitation to support parents, be part of a team, give back to the NHS and gain experience of the NHS.
Volunteers can choose to assist the Neuro Rehab Team at our Book Club in Dunstable or the Neurotones Choir (Leighton Buzzard), helping to set up sessions and supporting and encouraging participants so that they can benefit fully from the sessions.
We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of 6 months volunteering, for approximately 2-3 hours a fortnight, with the option for more hours if desired.
Volunteers need to be over 18 years of age for this role.
Training & support is provided throughout your volunteering experience.
