Manitou Library Summer Adventure Volunteer

Summer Adventure volunteer schedules and assignments will vary, depending on the needs of the individual library.   

Some duties may include, 

    • Explain how to participate in Summer Adventure  
    • Register Summer Adventure participants 
    • Use Beanstack for registration or prize tracking 
    • Hand out prizes and restock prize shelves  
    • Shelve books   
    • Order the books on shelving carts   
    • Find items on the shelf for holds   
    • Shelf reading   
    • Neaten shelves and shelving areas   
    • Prepare program materials   
    • Assist with program set-up/take down   
    • Assist with program facilitation   
    • Assist with passive programming  
    • Assist with Summer Adventure parties
